During the escorted tours, we’ll enjoy a mixture of freedom camping and staying in commercial campgrounds with full facilities. Freedom camps are often in beautiful locations and can provide more flexibility like allowing camp fires which always makes for a memorable evening. While many freedom camps don’t have full facilities, you’ll have your own toilet/shower on tour for your comfort. By mixing it up with the full facility campgrounds, your adventure will have the best of both worlds!
While on tour, during the day you are free to explore on your own, in small groups or tag along with us. We’ll make sure you know how to find the areas and activities that are matched with your interests, and we’ll be keeping in contact with UHF radios. Every evening the group will catch up at the night’s destination and share tales of the days adventure at ‘happy hour’ which could be around the camp fire, or overlooking a beautiful vista.
