Mighty Deuce

Mighty rentals require an online ‘check in’ process before travelling, along with specific pick up and drop off times as part of online process.

Mighty rentals require a bond. A credit card can only be used to provide the bond, and the credit card holder must be present on pick up as they are jointly liable. The standard liability and refundable Bond is AU$3,500 for the Mighty Highball, Mighty Jackpot and Mighty Double Down and AU$5,000 for all other campervans. This is charged to the hirer’s credit card when they pick up. This is a fairly standard rate for the entire motorhome hire industry. Mighty understands that this may be a lot of money, so they offer liability reduction options to reduce the bond and your liability in the event of an incident. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.

For vehicle hire 01 April 2023– 31 March 2024

Liability Reduction – Liability/Bond reduced to AU$0 at a charge of AU$48 per day.  Also includes under body and overhead damage (does not include single vehicle rollover), plus cover for accidental damage to unlimited tyres and windscreen.

If you are planning to reduce your liability and bond, then the inclusive package is excellent value for money because of the extras included. Please ask us for more information.

If you are looking at an older style motorhome, Mighty is an excellent brand as it offers the same comprehensive liability reduction options as some of our more premium brands.

Inclusive Pack: Liability/Bond reduced to AU$0 at a charge of AU$60 per day

Includes: Liability Reduction Option with underbody and overhead cover, along with unlimited tyre and windscreen cover,  single vehicle rollover cover, camp chairs and table, linen exchange (pop into Mighty depots en route to change your linen), extra driver fees, baby/booster seat on request (cannot be fitted to some vehicle categories) and portable fan heater if required.

Extra Driver Fees:
There is a cost of AU$2.50 (max charge AU$37.50) per day for each additional driver; included in the Inclusive Package.

One Way Fees:
A one-way fee of AU$165 – AU$280 applies when the pickup and drop off depot differ. This cost will be included in the quote we provide to you. Please note, for many popular travel routes in Australia, a one-way trip is the best option – ask us for more details on this.

Kilometres:
Mighty campers have unlimited kilometres included in the standard rates.

For vehicle hire 01 April 2024 – 31 March 2025

The High Road (Liability Reduction Option 2):
(LRO2)* Liability/Bond (2BTS, 4BTS and 6BTS) reduced to AU$0/$0 at a charge of AU$48 per day

Value Pack:
Liability/Bond(2BTS, 4BTS and 6BTS) reduced to AU$0/$0 at a charge of AU$60 per day (up to a maximum total of $3,000). Maximum amount payable capped at 50 days.

Value Pack Includes:
High Road (Liability Option Two), Underbody and overhead damage (covered for accidental damage), Fan/Header, extra driver fees, 3 x toilet chemicals, camp chairs and table, and baby or booster seats (on request) and linen exchange service**

*Please note the liability reduction options with Mighty do not include tyre and windscreen cover. This can be added as an optional extra only.

**The linen exchange service allows guests to exchange their linen and bedding during their rental after seven days of travel at any thl branch. The branch will need to be notified ahead of time to ensure items are available and ready for when guests arrive.

Extra Driver Fees:
Extra drivers are AU$4 per extra driver, per day capped at 15-days. This is included in the Value Pack.

One Way Fees:
The one-way fee is $185 – $280 for all one-way rentals when the pick up and drop off depot differ. This cost will be included in the quote we provide to you. Please note, for many popular travel routes in Australia, a one-way trip is the best option – ask us for more details on this.

Windscreen and Tyre Protection plus extended Roadside Assist (WAP):
This includes 1 windscren and 2 tyres and the extended roadside assistance costs $15 per day (capped at 25 days charge).
Extended Roadside Assistance includes opening RV on lock out, jump start, flat tyre change using spare located in the RV, fuel delivery up to 20 litres and call out fee up to $150.00. Non-mechanical issues are not covered and guests may be required to take the RV to a repairer.

Single Vehicle Rollover
Can only add to the Mighty 2WD RV booking when taking the Value Package at a cos of AU$7 per day, minimum charge AU$70 per rental.
