Cruisin rentals require a bond. A credit card can only be used to provide the bond, and the credit card holder must be present on pick up as they are jointly liable. The standard liability and refundable bond is AU$5,000. This is charged to the hirer’s credit card when they pick up. An administration fee of AU$100 applies (Visa or Mastercard). This is a fairly standard rate for the entire motorhome hire industry. Cruisin understands that this may be a lot of money so offer liability reduction options to reduce the bond and your liability in the event of an incident. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.
Liability Reduction Option – Liability/Bond reduced to AU$0. At a charge of $45 per day (max charge AU$2,250 (50 days charge)). Please note that this cover is not as comprehensive as the Maximum Cover Package, which provides better peace of mind cover and value for money. For example, when reducing your liability and not taking the ‘package’, overhead and underbody damage, tyre and windscreen damage, and single vehicle rollover is excluded.
Maximum Cover Package: Liability/Bond reduced to AU$0 with many extras included. At a charge of AU$55 per day (max charge AU$2,250 (50 days charge).
Includes: Liability Option, tyre and windscreen cover, overhead and underbody damage, single vehicle rollover cover, LP gas refill fee, GPS, camp chairs and table, and baby/booster seat (on request).
Extra Driver Fees
Extra drivers are included in the standard rates. Drivers must be aged between 21 and 79 years old.

One Way Fees
For pickups prior to 01 April 2020, a one way fee of AU$260 applies when the pick up and drop off depot differ. This cost will be included in the quote we provide to you. Please note, for many popular travel routes in Australia, a one way trip is the best option – ask us for more details on this. For hires of 21 days or longer, the one way fee is waived.
