A great budget option. Gives more space in the living area than similar 4WD vehicles, this camper has a large double bed, sleep inside, cooking facilities plus the benefit of air conditioning(240 volts). Easy to pop roof offers extra ventilation.
The extra fuel capacity means you can travel further, plus has a large side awning. This is a great option for those not planning anything to difficult in terms of 4WDing, but provides excellent flexibility to get off the beaten track.
Please note that some 4WD tracks are prohibited in this vehicle and others are restricted. Please ask us for more information regarding this so we can ensure this vehicle is the best option for where you’re planning to travel. Average age 3 – 6 years.

Cheapa Campa rentals require a bond. A credit card can only be used to provide the bond, and the credit card holder must be present on pick up as they are jointly liable. The standard liability and refundable Bond is AU$8,000 for the 4WD campers. This is charged to the hirer’s credit card when they pick up. This is a fairly standard rate for the entire motorhome hire industry. Cheapa Campa understands that this may be a lot of money, so they offer liability reduction options to reduce the bond and your liability in the unlikely event of an accident. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.
24 hour roadside assistance, linen and cooking equipment is included in standard rental rates.

Value Pack:
Liability/Bond(4WD Campers) reduced to AU$500/$500 at a charge of AU$75 per day (up to a maximum total of $3,750). Maximum amount payable capped at 50 days.
Value Pack Includes:
High Road (Liability Option Two), extra driver fees, Fan/Heater, camp chairs and table.
*Please note we strongly suggest taking the 4WD Addition cover in conjunction with the High Road cover for the best peace of mind and value.
4WD Additional Cover:
This additional cover for AU$350 is available when either High Road (Liability Reduction Option 2) or the Value Pack have been purchased. Coverage with this offer will protect the renter for:
- Accidental damage to the overhead and under body sections of the 4WD campervan
- Unlimited tyre and windscreen cover
- Damage to the awning
- Unlimited kilometres
- $0 Liability (AU$500 bond debited) – included with the High Road/Value Pack
- Towing and vehicle recovery costs from 4WD roads where permission from Apollo to travel on these roads.*
- Single Vehicle Rollover

Extra drivers are AU$4 per extra driver, per day capped at 15-days. This is included in the Value Pack.
One Way Fees:
The one-way fee is $175 – $280 for all one-way rentals when the pick up and drop off depot differ. This cost will be included in the quote we provide to you. Please note, for many popular travel routes in Australia, a one-way trip is the best option – ask us for more details on this.

4WD campers are allowed 300 km per day, unless taking the 4WD additional cover pack and then it is unlimited kilometres.
