Cheapa Endeavour

Cheapa Campa rentals require a bond. A credit card can only be used to provide the bond, and the credit card holder must be present on pick up as they are jointly liable. The standard liability and refundable Bond is  AU$3,500 for the hitop style 2WD campervans with no toilet and shower on board.  This is charged to the hirer’s credit card when they pick up. This is a fairly standard rate for the entire motorhome hire industry. Cheapa Campa understands that this may be a lot of money, so they offer liability reduction options to reduce the bond and your liability in the unlikely event of an accident. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.

24 hour roadside assistance, linen and cooking equipment is included in standard rental rates.

For vehicle hire 01 April 2023 – 31 March 2024

The Middle Road (Liability Reduction Option 1):
(LRO1) Liability/Bond (2WD non toilet/shower campervans) reduced to AU$1,500/$1,500 at a charge of AU$25 per day

The High Road (Liability Reduction Option 2):
(LRO2)* Liability/Bond (2WD non toilet/shower campervans) reduced to AU$0/$250 at a charge of AU$33 per day

Value Pack:
Liability/Bond(2WD non toilet/shower campervans) reduced to AU$0/$250 at a charge of AU$43 per day (up to a maximum total of $2,150). Maximum amount payable capped at 50 days.

Value Pack Includes:
High Road (Liability Option Two), Underbody and overhead damage (covered for accidental damage), extra driver fees, LP gas refill fee, camp chairs and table, and baby or booster seats (on request).

*Please note the liability reduction options with Cheapa Campa do not include tyre and windscreen cover. This can be added as an optional extra only.

Extra Driver Fees:
Extra drivers are AU$4 per extra driver, per day capped at 15-days. This is included in the Value Pack.

One Way Fees:
The one-way fee is $175 – $260 for all one-way rentals when the pick up and drop off depot differ. This cost will be included in the quote we provide to you. Please note, for many popular travel routes in Australia, a one-way trip is the best option – ask us for more details on this.

Kilometres:
2WD Cheapa Campa motorhomes have unlimited kilometres included in the standard rates.

Windscreen and Tyre Protection plus extended Roadside Assist (WAP):
This includes 1 windscren and 2 tyres and the extended roadside assistance costs $10 per day (capped at 25 days charge).
Extended Roadside Assistance includes opening RV on lock out, jump start, flat tyre change using spare located in the RV, fuel delivery up to 20 litres and call out fee up to $150.00. Non-mechanical issues are not covered and guests may be required to take the RV to a repairer.

Single Vehicle Rollover
Can only add to the Cheapa Campa 2WD RV booking when taking the Value Package at a cos of AU$7 per day, minimum charge AU$70 per rental.

Value Pack:
Liability/Bond (2WD non toilet/shower campervans) reduced to AU$0/$0 at a charge of AU$47 per day (up to a maximum total of $2,350). Maximum amount payable capped at 50 days.

Value Pack Includes:
High Road (Liability Option Two), Underbody and overhead damage (covered for accidental damage), Fan/Header, extra driver fees, camp chairs and table, and baby or booster seats (on request) and linen exchange service**

**The linen exchange service allows guests to exchange their linen and bedding during their rental after seven days of travel at any thl branch. The branch will need to be notified ahead of time to ensure items are available and ready for when guests arrive.
